Another recipe from Taste of Home: Simple & Delicious! Really easy to make. Has ground beef, bow tie noodles, green peppers, yellow squash, tomatoes, and parmesan cheese :)
I only used two of the suggested three squashes and I think the squash outnumbers any other ingredient, but it is a delicious meal.

And here's their always more appealing picture:
In my life I try to be like a sunflower. During the day sunflowers follow the sun to receive more rays. So as the day passes the sunflowers have followed the sun from the east to the west. This correlates to me in that I try to follow Jesus Christ everyday. Do what he would want me to do. Also, to me sunflowers are a symbol for optimism and happiness. And I try to stay positive even when things are trying their hardest to bring me down.

Southwestern Skillet Burgers
Using the Taste of Home: Simple and Delicious Cookbook, I made Southwestern Skillet Burgers today. Really easy, and turned out delicious!
It consists of ground beef with bread crumbs mixed in, making patties and browning them in a skillet. Remove them and add a can of diced tomatoes w/ onions and a can of condensed beans and bacon soup, then return the patties. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for ten minutes till the burgers are fully cooked. At the end, add some shredded cheese to the tops and allow it to melt. I forgot to add taco seasoning to the burgers, but it still tasted fine because of the beans. It asks for 2 pounds of ground beef, but I didn't have enough space in my skillet to use all of it and I made 6 patties. Left overs! :) Hopefully it tastes just as good after being refrigerated and reheated.

And here's how their photo turned out. Looks a bit better, don't it? haha
