In my life I try to be like a sunflower. During the day sunflowers follow the sun to receive more rays. So as the day passes the sunflowers have followed the sun from the east to the west. This correlates to me in that I try to follow Jesus Christ everyday. Do what he would want me to do. Also, to me sunflowers are a symbol for optimism and happiness. And I try to stay positive even when things are trying their hardest to bring me down.

#63: Frittella
It's this small casual Italian restaurant. Tried their chicken fettuccine alfredo: very tasty! Came with lots of sauce and rolls. The rolls were hard on the outside, but soft and delicious on the inside- the best kind of rolls:)

#62: Longhorn Tavern Steak House
Had the chicken fried steak and it was probably the best I've ever had. BUT I didn't like that it didn't come with mashed potatoes. It comes with the option of a baked potato or french fries. I don't particularly like baked potatoes, so I got the french fries. Unfortunately they were not good... at all. Soggy and bleh. If I go again, maybe the baked potato will redeem them even though I think it should be against the law to serve chicken fried steak without mashed potatoes. It's just wrong!

#61: Layne's
On my friend's birthday (or technically birthday party day haha), I treated her to lunch at Layne's which is THE chicken strip restaurant of College Station. The fact that it has taken me 3 years to finally eat there is probably unbelievable to most Aggies. And the fact that I tried Caine's first; a shame. Teasha had the standard chicken strips, toast, fries, and potato salad. I had the club sandwich which is four chicken strips on toast haha. But it was all very tasty; plus, the atmosphere is great. The small building is covered in memorabilia and comics and commentary on the restaurant. I will definitely have to go again :)
